Only an hour and fifteen minutes from Chicago, this newly built lake front home and property is sure to please! Located on Bohners lake, equipped with a private dock (spring-mid fall), a pontoon boat for summer rentals, an outdoor fire pit, outdoor lighting, a large yard, and a farmhouse porch with swings for taking in the view. The home has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with sliding doors to the porch, and three bedrooms upstairs with a loft. Rooms are very spacious with lots of room for activities! The farmhouse kitchen and great room receive a lot of natural light with high ceilings and a large soap stone kitchen island which is fantastic for socializing.. On cold nights, cozy up inside by the wood burning stove and relax or outside by the firepit. The lake is great for seasonal fishing, ice fishing in the winter (we have one of the best locations on the lake for fishing!). On those warm summer days, enjoy paddling on one of the kayaks and there's a swim lily pad which is great fun for kids and sun bathing adults. In the fall, enjoy apple picking, fresh farm stands (gotta get some sweet corn!) check out the beautiful colors of the leaves changing, grab some pumpkins and get lost (not really!) in the corn mazes. In the winter, the lake is fantastic for ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing/snowboarding and tubing at Wilmot (only 15 minutes away!) or Alpine Valley (20 minutes away) which also has a golf course and lots of mountain bike trails in the spring, summer and fall. Visit Lake Geneva which is a scenic 10 minute drive or dine at one of the restaurants in Burlington (about 5 minutes away). The local Beachview grocery has one of the best delis around and it's a quick walk from the house. This all season lake front property has all the comforts of home without the stress!
